Welcome to BTECRevision. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our website, free educational resources, digital products, learning accounts and Premium subscriptions.
Please read the applicable terms before making a purchase. Creating a learning account does not automatically start a paid subscription.
1. About Us
BTECRevision is operated by iVision Learning Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
- Company number: 14560540
- Registered office and correspondence address: 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
- Website: https://btecrevision.com/
- Customer support: support@btecrevision.com
2. Our Educational Services
BTECRevision provides educational materials including revision notes, interactive questions, assessments, practice papers, downloadable workbooks and Premium learning features.
Our resources support study towards relevant BTEC qualifications. They do not replace official awarding-body information, classroom teaching or independent study.
We aim to provide accurate and specification-aligned material, but we cannot guarantee examination results, grades or qualifications.
BTECRevision is an independent educational provider and is not an official Pearson website.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
Some learning features require an individual account. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and avoid sharing your account with others.
Premium membership is intended for use by one individual learner. It is not transferable between learners.
Premium subscriptions are intended for UK residents aged 16 or over subscribing for their own learning. Students aged 16 or 17 may subscribe themselves where permitted by applicable law and payment-provider rules. We do not currently offer paid Premium subscriptions to children under 16.
You must be authorised to use the payment method for the initial £20 charge and recurring £20 monthly charges until the subscription is cancelled. If the card belongs to a parent, guardian or another person, you must have that cardholder’s permission for the recurring payments, not just the first payment.
A separate parent account is not required for the standard student subscription. A parent or cardholder with a billing concern may contact support@btecrevision.com. We may take proportionate steps to verify authority before discussing or changing billing information; payment permission does not automatically grant another person access to the learner’s private learning records.
Public Premium subscription enrolment is currently closed. Creating a free account does not start billing or automatically grant Premium access. Once public enrolment is launched, paid access begins only after a successful, verified payment.
Free revision resources and separately authorised complimentary learning access may have different eligibility arrangements. For separate Shop purchases by under-18 learners, a parent or guardian should make the purchase where appropriate.
We may undertake proportionate account-control, eligibility and security checks. An email address or age declaration alone is not independent proof of age. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or protections that apply under the law, including protections for younger customers.
4. Premium Subscription
BTECRevision Premium provides access to eligible paid learning features, including interactive practice, saved progress, revision recommendations, assessment activities and mastery tools across our available Applied Science Biology, Chemistry and Physics courses.
Premium does not include separately sold workbooks, examination bundles, individual tutoring or guaranteed personal teacher marking.
Price: £20.00 GBP per month.
- The first £20 payment is collected when a subscription is successfully started through an authorised Checkout.
- The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- There is no setup fee or minimum multi-month commitment.
- Payments are processed through Stripe.
- Premium access begins only after successful payment verification.
- Access continues only for a verified paid period or another separately authorised entitlement.
iVision Learning Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not charged.
Before completing a subscription, the customer will be shown the applicable price, recurring-payment information, terms and any required information about immediate access and consumer cancellation rights.
Creating an account, viewing a subscription page or saving payment information elsewhere does not by itself start a Premium subscription.
5. Cancelling Premium
You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time without an administration fee.
To cancel online, sign into your BTECRevision learning account, open Premium Billing, and select Manage payments and cancellation to access the available billing portal.
You can also request cancellation by emailing support@btecrevision.com.
You do not have to telephone us or provide a particular explanation to request cancellation.
Ordinary cancellation stops future subscription renewals. Your Premium access normally continues until the end of your verified paid period, unless a refund or applicable legal remedy ends the relevant entitlement earlier.
To avoid the next renewal payment, cancel before that payment is collected.
You can also contact your card issuer to stop a recurring card-payment authority. This does not necessarily terminate an underlying contract, so please notify us if you also wish to cancel the subscription. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.
6. Premium 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a full 14-day money-back guarantee on your first £20 Premium subscription payment.
If you send a clear refund request by the end of the 14th day after the day you first subscribe, we will refund that initial payment in full.
This guarantee applies even if you have already started using Premium, completed questions or accessed learning materials.
There is:
- No deduction for use of Premium.
- No refund administration fee.
- No requirement to explain why you want the refund.
To request the guarantee, email support@btecrevision.com and identify your account. A clear refund request is sufficient; no special form is required.
We will issue an eligible refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your qualifying request. Refunds normally use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. Your payment provider may require additional processing time before funds appear.
The refund will end the paid coverage supported by the refunded payment once that refund is verified. If you also want to stop future billing, tell us to cancel the subscription or use the billing portal. We will confirm the status of your refund and recurring payments.
This voluntary guarantee is in addition to your statutory consumer rights. It does not remove or shorten any cancellation, refund or other legal remedy that applies.
7. Statutory Cancellation and Consumer Rights
Depending on how the service is legally classified and the circumstances of the purchase, statutory cancellation rights may apply to your Premium subscription and other digital purchases.
If immediate access is offered during a statutory cancellation period, we will provide the applicable pre-contract information and obtain any legally required request, consent or acknowledgement before supply begins.
Starting to use Premium does not affect our voluntary full 14-day initial-payment guarantee.
For any statutory cancellation right that applies, you can send us a clear statement of your decision to cancel.
You may also use the optional model cancellation form in Schedule 3 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Send your notice to support@btecrevision.com or the correspondence address in section 1.
For example:
“I wish to cancel my BTECRevision Premium subscription. My account email is [account email], and my subscription began on [date]. Please confirm cancellation and any applicable refund.”
Using this example is optional. Do not include your password, complete card number or card security code.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
8. Digital Downloads and Separate Shop Products
One-off purchases of downloadable workbooks, practice papers and other Shop products are separate from Premium subscriptions unless a product description expressly states otherwise.
The price, licence and digital-supply terms shown for each Shop product apply to that purchase.
For further information about digital downloads, see our Shop Refund and Returns Policy.
Where required by law, we obtain the relevant consent and acknowledgement before supplying downloadable digital content immediately.
Any digital-download acknowledgement applies to the relevant purchase. It does not remove the separate Premium money-back guarantee or override applicable statutory rights.
9. Failed Payments and Access
If a recurring payment fails, we may ask you to update your payment method or complete additional bank authentication.
A failed or unpaid payment does not extend an existing paid-access period.
Premium access may be restricted after the verified paid period expires. A successfully recovered payment may restore access for the appropriate verified period.
Cancellation or payment failure does not automatically delete your saved learning history. Information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
10. Educational Content and Licences
Original BTECRevision learning resources, explanations, diagrams, questions, designs and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Unless otherwise stated, your account or purchase provides a limited, personal, non-transferable licence for the permitted educational use of the relevant materials.
You must not resell, redistribute, publicly upload, systematically copy or commercially reproduce protected resources without written permission.
Teachers, schools and institutions requiring broader permissions should contact us.
11. Learning Progress and Assessment
Premium may save submitted answers, attempts, corrections, scores, completed activities, revision history, checklist progress and mastery indicators.
Automated assessment follows the relevant answer keys and checking rules. Some longer written responses are intended for learner self-assessment against explanations or marking criteria, rather than individual teacher marking.
Progress and mastery information is designed to support revision. It is not an official awarding-body assessment or a guarantee of examination performance.
12. Availability and Changes to Services
We aim to maintain a reliable learning platform, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems or third-party service failures.
We may correct educational errors, update resources and improve features.
Material changes to paid services, prices or contractual terms will be communicated appropriately in advance, and we will respect applicable consumer rights.
If a technical problem prevents access to paid content, please contact customer support so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
13. Privacy and Personal Information
We process account, purchase, subscription and learning information as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Stripe also handles relevant payment information according to its applicable privacy arrangements.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete learning records or financial information. You may contact us to exercise applicable data-protection rights.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Nothing excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
We remain responsible for providing our services to the standards required by applicable UK law.

Nothing in these Terms removes protections available under the law of another part of the United Kingdom where those protections must apply.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, applicable law or operating procedures.
